COUNTBENCH GUIDE

Emailing your results.

You can send the PDF report, and optionally the XLSX results, to your own email address. It is free and optional, and downloads never need an email address.

How it works

  1. On the results screen, choose Email me these results. The PDF report is selected, with the XLSX results as an option. The screen shows the files and their combined size, and explains that they will be uploaded temporarily so we can email them to you.
  2. CountBench uploads only the selected files and opens a form in a new tab. Your count stays open in the original tab, including a temporary session.
  3. Check the email preview and attachments, then enter your email address. You can also answer one optional question about your factory, and tick a separate box if you would like SmartFACT product news. The box is unticked unless you choose it.
  4. Choose Send my results. We send a six-digit code to the address. It expires after ten minutes and carries no attachments.
  5. Enter the code and choose Verify and send. Your results are emailed once to that address, and the form shows whether the email was submitted.

Entering a code proves the address is yours for this request only. It does not create an account or sign you up to anything you did not tick.

Limits

One PDF and one XLSX, up to 5 MiB in total. Files are checked before sending; encrypted or unusual files are refused rather than altered. A larger result can still be downloaded. Emailing needs a connection, and a failed upload, code or email never affects your count or your downloads.

What we keep, and for how long

Deleting our copy cannot recall an email that has already been sent, so keep sensitive results within your own organisation's mail. Results emails contain no advertising, tracking pixels or tracked links. See the CountBench privacy notice for the full details.
